Grandma Rubin's Peppernuts was founded in 1998. A
few years ago, we were simply customers who came to
thoroughly enjoy Peppernuts as we shared them with our
family, friends and corporate clients. We loved them
because they were out of the ordinary and had a unique,
addicting taste. Now, as the owners, we are
wholeheartedly committed to furthering the Peppernuts
experience and legacy. We firmly believe that every life
can be brightened by a generous sprinkling of ginger.

Phil has spent many years working in the corporate world with fine companies. DeeDee, first a teacher
and then homemaker, has relished being a stay-at-home mom. As our children matured into young
adults, we were looking for something we could do together when they began to leave the nest. When
the opportunity presented itself to purchase this company, we jumped at the chance.

For us, Peppernuts is not only a business, but a passion. We love preparing and distributing
Peppernuts (aka Pfeffernusse) to others. Our dream is to spend our days baking and sharing them with
our friends, both old and newfound.
